Terms of Service

TOHREE (tohree.com.ng) is operated by DexGlobal Digital Nigeria Ltd (“TOHREE,” “we,” “us”). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the TOHREE platform.

Registration is restricted to people aged 18 or older. By creating a TOHREE account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

You're responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your account secure, including your password and any device signed in to your account. Tell us promptly at hello@tohree.com.ng if you believe your account has been compromised.

TOHREE provides serialized digital fiction and related reader services — discovering books, reading chapters, tracking progress, and unlocking premium content. Some chapters are free. Others may require Purchased Coins, eligible Reward Coins, an active subscription (where the title is subscription-included), or another entitlement TOHREE offers from time to time.

Purchased Coins are digital platform credits used to unlock premium content on TOHREE. Purchased Coins:

• are not cash and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money;
• do not represent a bank deposit or any form of stored monetary value;
• do not expire under TOHREE's current rules, unless we change these Terms prospectively and lawfully (see “Changes to these Terms” below).

Reward Coins are promotional credits earned through engagement (such as daily check-ins, reading milestones, sharing, or referring friends). Reward Coins:

• cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for money, or transferred to another account;
• cannot be used to purchase a subscription;
• may expire according to the reward rules in effect at the time they were earned.

We may withhold, adjust, or reverse Reward Coins to prevent fraud, manipulation, duplicate claims, automation/bot abuse, or other exploitation of the reward system.

A chapter you permanently unlock stays attached to your account. We won't remove an entitlement you legitimately earned or purchased, except where it was obtained through fraud, a chargeback or other payment reversal, a genuine administrative error, or another lawful basis for reversal.

TOHREE subscription passes are prepaid access periods, not automatically recurring — you won't be charged again when a pass ends unless we introduce recurring billing in the future, which we'll disclose clearly in advance before any such charge.

An active subscription grants access to subscription-included titles for as long as it's active. It does not, by itself, create a permanent chapter unlock — access from a subscription ends when the subscription does, unless you've separately unlocked a chapter with coins or another entitlement.

Which books and chapters are available can change over time for editorial, licensing, legal, technical, security, or other operational reasons. We'll try to avoid disrupting content you've already unlocked, but availability isn't guaranteed to be permanent.

You agree not to:

• abuse, defraud, or manipulate your account, payments, or the platform;
• scrape, automate, or bulk-extract content or data from TOHREE;
• share credentials or access in a way intended to defeat access controls;
• copy, redistribute, or republish TOHREE content without authorization;
• attack, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to TOHREE's systems;
• interfere with, exploit, or manipulate the rewards or referral systems;
• otherwise use TOHREE for an unlawful purpose.

The TOHREE platform, software, and branding are protected by intellectual property law. Books available through TOHREE remain subject to the rights of their respective authors and publishers.

Purchasing or unlocking access to a book grants you a personal right to read it on TOHREE — it doesn't transfer copyright or any other ownership right in the work.

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about TOHREE, we may use them to improve the service without owing you compensation or attribution for doing so.

We may suspend or restrict an account to address suspected fraud or abuse, protect platform security, comply with legal obligations, or respond to a serious violation of these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, TOHREE's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to TOHREE in the six months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms attempts to exclude or limit any right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Nigerian consumer-protection law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated Terms here with a new effective date, and for material changes we may ask you to re-confirm your acceptance before you can continue using certain features.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
